Tips bright with borrowed light.
Soaked every strand,
took command.
Roots show through in ashen huge
whisper of years demands,
open hands.
Wisps array
as standing troops,
gently falling into loops.
Crowning character.
Grounding finger,
through tresses linger.
Catching thoughts
in webs
of morning knots.
Pulled and furled,
twist or braid,
spreading gray is unafraid.

I understand you’re a mom and a wife. But greys? You’re far too young my little sister… 😏

Haha! I found my first grey hair at 29, and have picture proof! 🤣 I was rather proud of it.

I only have a few streaks here and there. But since I haven’t been able to get to a hairdresser in over a year, they stand out against my colored ends. That’s what I get for coloring my hair I guess. 🤔

🤣 I was more more goofy looking, and interesting, when I had blue hair .
To live long enough to have grey hair is a blessing. Everyone who has it, has atleast a measure of wisdom. Even YOU. 😉

You with blue hair?? 🤔 interesting…. I’ve never had interesting colored hair. But I have had piercings and such.
Thanks sissy!

Blue, green, purple, fire red and orange, yep. Never tried pink though. I use to change it up quite often.
Anyway. Have a great day John. Thanks for making a moment for me again this morning. ❤
