Six Word Stories (49)

There is so much hidden beauty within nature. It’s detail is mind blowing.

When was the last time you picked up a leaf, or a flower petal, and really studied it?

Or played it in a stream and watched it transform in to a boat?

Both these things I did regularly as a child. They came instinctively. But now as an adult I must remind myself to slowdown, look, interact and play.

It’s those small moments that life is built on. It’s in those explorations that we learn, and leaning should never stop.

Today I am thankful for those small moments. The leaves on the ground that are or soon will be covered in snow, and the lessons paying attention to those small things will teach me.
