Six Word Stories (2)

My second small collection of six word stories.

Sometimes I search for a photo to match the words rolling around in my head. Sometimes I see a picture first, and it speaks to me.

I am trying to teach myself to find words and emotions in places picture that do not always naturally speak to me.

What about you? Do you find words popping up as you look at these images? I would love to know what they are. Let me know by leaving a moment.

      • I was thinking it was some kind of challenge or something.

I find it very interesting. It’s kind of like a haiku. I’m thinking of something I can try…

I wrote my first haiku last year… I don’t know if it’s a true haiku but it’s what I came up with lol.

      • It’s a great exercise. I use it alot tonget the creative juices going. On days I have no word it helps to look at an image and find 6 words hiding within it.

Like indie one for fun on a magazines FB page. The picture was a dog siting looking at a house plant. My story was, “Only rover saw the imminent danger.”

So, it tells a story that is more then just the picture, but with out the picture you wouldn’t have the whole story.

      • Ok! So, I’ve kinda sorta done the same thing (?)

Finding the story in the picture! I found a picture of a woman on Pinterest and the look on her face had a story. I tried to pull that story out. One of the few times I actually wrote a story. And it kind of fit. It got deleted with everything on the old blog. 🤦‍♂️

Ok, I think I know what you’re doing!
